Give up your small animal

We understand that having to find a new home for a rabbit, guinea pig, rat, hamster, degu, gerbil can occur for all sorts of reasons. We treat all our residents as if they are part of our own family and will do everything we can to make sure your small animal is happy and well looked while they are in our care and in their new home.

All adopters are vetted and we work hard to make sure we match the right small animal with the right home and humans. There is no time limit on how long an animal stays with us before we find their happy ever after.

We never put a healthy animal to sleep. If a vet advises that euthanasia is necessary for welfare reasons then we follow the advice, just as we would for our own animals.

We prioritise taking in animals from Thanet and the immediate surrounding areas (CT postcode), but we will admit from further afield if space permits and the small animal can be transported to us.
