Give up your dog

We understand that having to find a new home for a much-loved dog can occur for all sorts of reasons. We will do everything we can to find a suitable space or foster home
for your dog. All adopters are vetted and we work hard to make sure we match the right dog with the right home and humans. Depending upon the situation we might ask you to continue caring for your dog until we find a suitable space but will do our best to help if the situation is urgent.

We never put a healthy dog to sleep. If a vet advises that euthanasia is necessary for welfare reasons then we follow the advice, just as we would for our own animals.

We prioritise taking in dogs from Thanet and the immediate surrounding areas (CT postcode), but we will admit from further afield if space permits and the dog can be transported to us.
