It's all about me!

Jet has spent the last 4 years of his life in a kennel and is now in need of a retirement home who can give him all the love he deserves.

He is such a good boy and has bonded with all the girls in the kennels. He came to us a little on the chunky side, so has been on a diet and had a lot of exercise to get him to the correct weight. He loves his walks, enrichment toys and lots of fuss!

Jet can be known to chew the lead when over excited but with continued training can be redirected to focus on walking.
He has been doing really well with ignoring the lead and focusing on his handler.

Due to his lack of socialization over the years he would need to be the only dog in the home and would live more comfortably in an adult only home.
Jet would need a very understanding human to help him adjust back into a home environment.
His lead ragging has prevented him from getting the chance he so deserves in life and in turn has spent far to long in kennels.
Jet is such a sweet, loving boy looking for that extra special human to take him home.
Foster or foster with view to adopt would be a great way forward for this super little lad.

Application

We read all applications and get in touch with those that look like a good match for one of our dogs.

Home check

If your application looks like a good match we will contact you to arrange a home visit - this is a mandatory part of adopting.

Meet and greet

Once the home visit is complete we will arrange for you to meet suitable dogs.

Adoption and post adoption support

We love to see updates about how the dogs are getting on and we offer rescue back up for the rest of the dog’s life.

Important notes

  • All of our dogs are assessed, vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered (or will be at a time recommended by our vet) and treated for fleas and worms.

  • We re-home to Thanet and surrounding areas, (up to a 1 hour drive from Dover where many of our dogs our brought upon arrival) but will consider further afield for a dog that has very specific requirements.
