*FOSTER TO ADOPT*

Pippa is looking for a kind person to lend her a helping hand. She came to TAG through no fault of her own after her owner became too unwell to care for her. Sadly Pippa has found all the change in her life very unsettling as, try as we might, being in the cattery is not the same as being in a home. Pippa has been health checked by our vet and found to be in good health. She does have a history of overgrooming which suggests she has always had an anxious disposition.

Currently Pippa keeps herself to herself and is not looking to interact with people. We can see she is not finding life easy at the moment so we are hoping to find someone who will offer Pippa a chance under a 'foster to adopt' set up. Pippa is looking for a very quiet home with a room that can be set up for her sole use until she is ready to explore more of the house - which may take several months. She cannot live with children or other animals and the fewer people in the household the better for her.

We don't know how long it will take Pippa to settle and if she will ever be the kind of cat that wants to sit on your lap so she needs someone with no expectations and who will go with the flow of what Pippa want to do. She will be a cat who makes baby steps forward on a monthly rather than daily basis so her human will need to be prepared to get very little back from her for quite some time.

Pippa will need to be a strictly indoor cat until she is confident in her home. Given her nervous disposition, her humans will need to be incredibly careful not to leave windows open, or access to external doors, where she could squeeze out.

Pippa is not a quick fix or a cat for the faint hearted. Giving her a chance will be a selfless act but one that she so needs and deserves.

Please fill in our application form to offer her a home.
